Hira Iqbal is an Articling Student working toward completing her licensing requirements with the Law Society of Ontario. She brings experience supporting litigation, immigration and tribunal matters, with a focus on legal research, document preparation, and client coordination.
Hira previously worked as a Paralegal/Law Clerk at JHR Law, where she assisted with drafting court documents, managing case files, coordinating client communications, and supporting day-to-day legal operations.
She has previously worked with Desa Law and the Community Legal Clinic of York Region, where she supported legal research, court filings, litigation, social assistance, and employment law.
Hira also has experience in immigration law and has worked internationally in both the United Kingdom and Pakistan, giving her a well-rounded perspective on legal systems and client needs.
She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Human Rights Law from Cardiff University, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), and a Paralegal Graduate Certificate from Humber College. She holds a Paralegal (P1) License from the Law Society of Ontario and a High Court Lawyer License from the Pakistan Bar Council.
Hira is an avid swimmer and an adventurous person. She loves to travel to many places around the world and try new foods, with her favourite destinations including Paris, Florida, and Dubai, She enjoys blogging, running an educational Instagram page on human rights.
